Notice to Town Residents – Park Pass Available

Dear Recreation Department Directors:

Thank you for participating in the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Annual
Parks Pass Program. I have included the one free pass in this letter along with any other passes
you may have purchased.

DCR and the National Park Service are continuing to promote the “Find Your Park” theme by
encouraging people to explore our Massachusetts State Parks and share their experiences with us.
Please encourage your patrons to use social media such as Twitter and Instagram to share their
park experiences @MassDCR using ·the hashtag #FindYourPark. We hope these passes will
encourage more of your patrons to get outside and enjoy the beautiful facilities DCR manages
statewide so they can find “their” park!

The MassPass Pass entitles the bearer to free parking for one vehicle (excluding buses or vans) at
over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts State Parks system that charge a day-use parking fee. You
may purchase additional passes for $60.00 which is the fee charged to Massachusetts residents.
If the free Massachusetts MassParks Pass assigned to your recreation department is lost or stolen,
you may purchase a replacement pass.
