One of the requirements of our Community Forest Stewardship Project Grant is the execution of a Town Forest Stewardship Plan, which must be delivered to DCR by June 30th. The drafting of this plan has been the job of Alex Barrett, Forester with Long View Forestry. In the spirit of community engagement, Alex will be presenting his draft of the Town of Mt. Washington Forest Stewardship Plan to the Stewardship Committee at 7pm on May 23 on Zoom.

A copy of Alex’s Plan will be emailed to Stewardship Committee members.

The purpose of the presentation is to review the plan, participate in a Q&A, and provide feedback to Alex prior to the presentation of the Plan to the Conservation Commission at the end of May and the presentation of the Plan to the Select Board in early June.
